Jazz Club Philip Clouts World Jazz Quartet

Philip Clouts World Jazz Quartet

South African born pianist Philip Clouts’ career has included playing at Ronnie Scotts, Birmingham Symphony Hall and Glastonbury and Womad festivals, with regular radio play on Jazz FM and BBC Radio including the Jamie Cullum Show. He plays a set of melodic music including some of his own compositions, influenced by Latin and African jazz.

“It has a very infectious feel-good quality about it” Jazz FM

“Precise ebullience and relaxed funkiness” The Guardian

“Clouts' compositions are strong and likeable. The quartet's playing is similarly engaging, a feeling of optimism pervading the tunes with a life force of its own” All About Jazz
